These general terms and conditions of sale are deemed to be fully accepted by the customer when the order is placed.
Orders
All prices are exclusive of VAT and expressed in euros.
Prices do not include shipping costs.
AF SYSTEM reserves the right to change the prices shown online at any time, except for orders already accepted by both parties.
By sending the purchase order confirmation, the Customer unconditionally accepts the general terms of sale and payment set out below, declaring that they have read and accepted all the information provided to them. The information on www.afsystem.biz may be subject to change without notice. AF SYSTEM accepts no liability for any errors or omissions in the information provided on the website and undertakes to inform the customer of any errors or changes when the order is accepted.
Shipping costs
Shipping costs are calculated on the weight/volume of the package and will be communicated after the order has been placed.
The goods will be delivered by a national carrier. The expected shipping date of your purchase will be communicated to you by email or phone, together with the shipping costs. Any handling and/or tail-lift services must be requested before ordering, as they are not included in the shipping costs. Shipping costs include VAT. On delivery, the customer must check that the packages are intact and that the quantity and quality of the goods match the accompanying transport document (DDT). If the packaging is visibly damaged, you must: accept with reservation: the package is accepted, but before signing the document you must write or mark “Accepted subject to inspection” in the box provided. Once the package has been opened and any damage found, you can then be compensated promptly for the damage suffered.
Refuse the damaged goods if it is not possible to accept the package with reservation, or if the damage is visible without opening the package.
Product availability
Products on promotion are available while stocks last. Our order confirmation, which follows the order in which requests are received, is binding. Product images are for illustration only. We reserve the right to correct any typing errors, informing you in good time if you have placed an order.
Invoicing
Each order will be accompanied by a regular D.D.T. (transport document), valid for warranty purposes, and a regular invoice will be sent by email in the days following shipment.
Payment methods
- Advance payment of 100% of the amount, including shipping costs, by BANK TRANSFER when ordering.
- Advance payment of 100% of the amount, including shipping costs, by PAYPAL when ordering.
- Advance payment of 50% by BANK TRANSFER when ordering
- Remaining 50%, including shipping costs, cash on delivery by banker’s draft (assegno circolare).

Warranty
AF SYSTEM provides a 12-month warranty on the products supplied.
Within those 12 months, AF SYSTEM undertakes to supply replacements for faulty spare parts free of charge or, with shipping of the item paid by the customer, to repair it at the factory. The warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect use of the item.
Technical support
AF SYSTEM does not install or service the products sold, and these costs are borne by the buyer; however, AF SYSTEM is happy to find and recommend to the customer the service centre nearest to where the machine is to be installed or repaired.
Information on the right of withdrawal
Under art. 64 of Legislative Decree 206/05 (“Consumer Code”), the consumer has the right to withdraw without penalty and without giving any reason within 10 working days of delivery of the goods. To do so, it is sufficient to send a fax or an email, or simply to phone, to the company’s contact details within the 10 days. Instead of a specific notice, it is also sufficient to return the goods received within 10 days. For other starting dates, please refer to art. 65, paragraph 3 of the aforementioned decree.
It is an essential condition for exercising the right of withdrawal that the goods returned are substantially intact. It is, however, sufficient for the goods to be returned in a normal state of preservation, provided they have been kept and, where applicable, used with normal care.
Refunds
The only costs payable by the consumer for exercising the right of withdrawal are the direct costs of returning the goods to AF SYSTEM. Amounts paid by the customer, including any deposit, will be refunded within 30 days at the latest.
The above rules apply only to EU member states. For other countries, the parties are generally free to choose the law governing the contract, but the treatment more favourable to the consumer prevails.
